You don’t have to think so hard in knowing what to do. Internet marketers who wanted repeat visitors go too far as to redesign their websites, change their content and so on. What they do not realize that it all boils down to the simplicity of communication and interaction. All visitors or users of the site want nothing more than socializing with the site and have a good bond with it. It is all up to YOU, as an Internet marketer to fulfill that small desire of your visitors.
So how do you create simple methods of interaction and communication to keep your visitors keep coming back to you?
1.Blogging
When you have your own blog, what you should do is to write the content of your blog as if you are having a personal conversation with your visitor. This is a situational context of ‘direct communication’. Let your readers feel engaged in what you are trying to tell them. Share with them the content that they are looking for and have them build their trust in you.
Make your blog user-friendly so that they can direct themselves to posts from previous months or posts that are organized into a category. For example, if they want to look for a couple of posts on fabrics, your blog may want to group them under the category of ‘materials’. Additionally, what you can do is to add a search box on your site so that your visitors can type in keywords to find the exact blog post they want to read.
Let your vistors interact further by asking them to comment on the posts. To encourage comments you can pose a question to them, ask for their opinions and so on. These comments create interactivity and your visitors will feel ‘cherished’ knowing that their opinions are appreciated. Thus the more you post, the more you give them the chance to interact with the blog.
To encourage repeat visitors, you HAVE to promote your RSS feed. RSS is an abbreviation for Really Simple Syndication. How RSS works, is by ‘crawling’ into your blog and find the latest updated content you have placed in your blog and let the people who have subscribed to your RSS feed know that you have updated your website, giving them a reason to head down to your website and read your updated content.
2.Create a Forum
When you feel that you have a lot of users who keep coming back to your site for content and socialization, what you can do is to create a forum for them. Create free forums and link them to your blog.
You can organize your forums into different categories to allow your users to give inputs in different subjects. For example, if your blog is about cooking, your forum can have different categories such as ‘Chicken’, ‘Fish’, ‘Asian Dishes’, ‘Mediterranean Dishes’ and so on.
Through interactivity, socialization and engagement you are actually earning trust from your visitors. Earning trust on the Internet is not what many Internet marketers can achieve. Now that you know the steps and tactics to generate trust, make full use of it and make it a part of your business strategy.

Tuesday, May 29th, 2007A History of Chocolate.
Monday, May 28th, 2007I find the best way to consider the history of chocolate is to actually eat some while I’m reading! We can thank the Mayan Indians for discovering and planting the first cocoa plants in 1500 BC, when the Olmec Indians began to grow them. They used to dry out the beans and then grind it up and use as the base of a watery drink just like we do with tea or coffee today. This was such a delicacy that only the social elite were able to afford such luxury by the time of the Mayans. When Columbus first began to explore the new world he was introduced to the coco bean as cargo a Mayan trader was carrying.
Europeans Invent the First Chocolate Drink
Cacao beans were not very popular after Columbus brought back the first supplies. In fact it took some laterally minded monks to try the drink as a hot beverage. This immediately became popular throughout Spain. Soon Chocolate Houses opened throughout Europe. In the 1700’s the first steam mechanized coco grinders which lead to a price drop in coco production that made chocolate available for all.
At Last – Solid Eating Chocolate
As the hot drink spread as a favorite drink, people became more adventurous and experimented with using the cacao beans differently. Soon the powder was being used in cakes and desserts. It became obvious that the combination with sugar was a vital developmental step. Around the time of the American Revolutionary War, Bakers Chocolate Company began large scale manufacturing.
The Chocolate Revolution Begins
Whilst the Bakers Chocolate Company was influential in North America, the Dutch were quickly moving to widespread use of Cocoa powder produced by a process named after the country, the “Dutching” method. This process produced a fine grained powder which is still a favorite with chocolate connoisseurs.
Chocolate Spreads its Wings
Soon chocolate began to be used to make candies of varyoing types. The “Dutched” method lent itself to multiple uses and when combined with cocoa butter the modern chocolate styles began to emerge. This was especially evident with the production of moldable treats which we call chocolate truffles.
The history of chocolate in America features a rich diversity of baked goods and candies. One of the baked goods beloved by Americans are brownies, the first published recipe for this now classic treat was published in the Sears Roebuck Catalogue back at the end of the 19th century. The Hershey Company and the Nestle Company were making so much money in the United States, that a Belgian confection maker opened Godiva Chocolate Company in 1926; all three companies are still popular chocolate manufacturers today.
Chicken pox- the kid’ s disease
Monday, May 28th, 2007Chicken pox is very common in children, being actually a children’ s disease. It is very contagious and it is actually nothing but a viral infection. Chicken pox is cause by a virus called varicella zoster, thus the medical term for chicken pox: varicella. There are few complications in chicken pox cases, but when they occur, they are very serious. It does not matter if you are otherwise healthy.
Children under 10 years old are the main target of chicken pox. Adults can catch chicken pox as well, but this is very rare. Once you have had chicken pox, you can not develop it again. However, if you have not had chicken pox by the time you were ten, then things do not look so good. Older children and adults that develop chicken pox risk more severe complications. Winter and spring are the most common seasons for chicken pox. There are also some people that are more vulnerable to chicken pox than others. For example kids that are immunosuppressed or newborns are especially vulnerable to chicken pox.
The first time that you come in contact with a person that has chicken pox or other factors that put you at risk of developing chicken pox, you will have no visible signs of infection. This happens because chicken pox has a period of incubation that lasts somewhere between two and three weeks. After this period of time, you will start to have symptoms. Fever, but a mild one and headaches are the first signs of chicken pox. Then, after only a couple of hours, a rash will start to appear on your skin. This is the first visible chicken pox symptom. At the beginning you will see only some little, red spots on your skin that will quickly turn into blisters filled of fluid. This is the second important step in chicken pox. These blisters are very itchy. Then, just after a few days, these blisters scab over then dry up and eventually fall off. This is the way things evolve in chicken pox. Some, but very rare, cases of chicken pox have no symptoms so the disease will actually go unnoticed.
Some parts of your child’ s body are more likely to be affected by chicken pox than others. The chest and upper part of your child’ s back are the ares where the rash will first appear. However, chicken pox may affect your whole body, even the mouth. These are more rare cases of chicken pox, but they can exist.
Chicken pox can also lead to complications. The most common of all chicken pox complications is the secondary infection. This chicken pox complication can be fatal.
Letting Go of Perfection
Sunday, May 27th, 2007You know more than anyone how little time you have. Between your spouse, your kids, running errands, housework, working or volunteering, and the other gazillion little things that eat away the day, it’s impossible to get everything done. The To-Do List is in constant rotation, and it seems as soon as you cross something off something else gets added that’s just as important.
Busy moms have a lot to do, and a woman’s natural perfectionism is almost certain to kick into overdrive here. What does this mean? It means you’re constantly running, trying to do it all, which will eventually lead to a meltdown, or at the very least high blood pressure and heart palpitations. Assigning ‘High Priority’ status to everything is a major stressor, and the best way to nix this out of your life might be a bit shocking to some, but here it is.
Not everything has to get done.
Take a few minutes to digest this amazing concept. Mull it over. We’ll wait.
Ready for more? OK. Here’s the lowdown.
The fact is that you have limited time and limited energy. Everyone does. There is only so much you can do in a day, and trying to conquer a list of 25 things just isn’t going to happen. Learning to prioritize what’s really important and having the strength to let the rest go is a good way to live a life with less stress and more personal happiness.
Here’s a good example. Your friend Barb is on her feet 14 hours a day. She’s a stay at home ‘supermom’. Not only is her house spotless and her laundry constantly caught up, but she’s chair of the PTA and is responsible for organizing all the extra-curricular activities at your son’s school. You’re constantly marveling at how she does it all.
On the outside Barb seems as if she has it together, ticking along like a well-oiled machine, when in reality she’s completely miserable. She never has time to go cloud watching with her toddler because she has to get the floor cleaned and start the next load of laundry. She hasn’t spent any time on herself in years because she’s too busy organizing so many events. Barb is overdoing it and not only is she suffering, but her kids are too.
It’s easy to lose sight of what’s really important in life when so many little things crop up to eat away at our time. Yes, many of these things have to get done, and yes, some of them are quite important. But you have to decide what takes priority in your life and what can be left at the wayside. Life can get a lot more fun and interesting when you relax a little and let some spontaneity back into your day.
When you stop and think about it, perfectionism is pretty boring. Wouldn’t you rather your kids grow up remembering picnics and tea parties instead of how clean the house was and how all the errands got done? Again, yes, the house does need cleaned and the errands have to be run sometimes, but you don’t have to live in a constant ‘To-Do’ state. It’s important to realize that you can still achieve excellence in what you do without being a perfectionist.
Learn to go with the flow, and accept that fact that you’re not perfect. Accept the fact that not being perfect might be a lot more wonderful, and that it’s closer to the heart of what life is really about.
One Way Links and Reciprocal Link Exchange and Traffic
Sunday, May 27th, 2007While reciprocal links are still valid and help you gain link popularity and page rank, many SEO experts agree that one way links are more valuable. One way links are also known as non-reciprocal links. Acquiring one way links are much more difficult than reciprocal links. One way links are a tool that can be quite beneficial to the webmaster. The very best one way links are those that are included in the content of another website, directing visitors to your website. One way links are those where you point to a site, or a site points to you without a link being returned. One way links are the best way to increase the link popularity of the site and get theme based links for natural search engine optimization.
Since there are so many web directories you can spend a lot of time submitting your information in order to receive those important one way links. Now submission to free directories to gain one-way links considered a must for seo. Once articles are submitted to the article directories you will generate inbound one way links which are content rich. Writing several articles and submitting them to article directories for publication is a great way to build one-way links. Submit your site to various directories is a good way to get one-way links to your site. There are hundreds of these directories around and the more you submit to them the quicker you will build up your one way links.
The link popularity services include article submissions and general directory submissions to provide a great deal of quality one way links. Once these articles are submitted to the article directories then you would generate at least 150-200 inbound one way links which are content rich. Some article directories allow you to have your keywords in the article linking directly back to your site giving you relevant one way links. Just a single article submitted and picked up in this way can give you hundreds of one-way links pointing back to your website.
A typical link building campaign can cost you hundreds of dollars per month for quality, one way links. One-way link building is a great way to improve your link popularity and ranking in the search engines. Due to the nature of link building it is not possible to give an exact figure for how many links you will need but you will need to get quality one way links. One way link building is the core part of search engine marketing. Manual directory submissions are an extremely cost-effective way of building one-way links and thereby boosting link popularity. More and more, the experts in search engine marketing recommend building one-way links as the main impetus to higher rankings.
One way links are a vital part of today’s strategies for attaining the best ranking on search engines. One way links are the most valuable type of links since a lot of experts agree that search engines are starting to discount the value of reciprocal links but they are still important when building your link popularity. One way links are the most sought after links but the hardest links to attain. Reciprocal links and one way links are exchanged with like-minded quality sites to increase traffic that is relevant to your site.
Breast Enhancers
Sunday, May 27th, 2007Breast enhancement entails the use of different techniques and methods to artificially enhance the size of the breast. The allure of well-proportioned breasts and generous cleavage is a not just a male fixation. Breast enhancement is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures chosen by women. The motivation for breast enlargement varies for different individuals, while the ultimate goal remains fairly similar. Whether it is for a well-clothed look, a scintillating silhouette or a zing to self esteem, modern breast enlargement techniques offer cheaper, safer and faster options to satisfy customers.
The breast has one real function, feeding newborn babies. Going by this logic, the size of the breast is irrelevant as long as it performs this basic function. However, in most known societies and cultures, breasts lend themselves to the beauty of the female silhouette, and more often than not, a large size is considered more attractive. The desire for well-formed breasts is as strong as the craving for a well-maintained body or a beautiful face. Women often face the problem of loss of elasticity and firmness after childbirth or due to aging. Breast enhancement offers respite to such individuals.
Breast enhancement is sometimes coupled with breast reconstruction surgery for patients who have undergone mastectomy, or for those who have severely asymmetrical breasts due to certain defects or congenital diseases.
There are several methods of breast enlargement. Breast implants and surgery offer instantaneous gratification. Any surgical method for breast enhancement should be done by an expert surgeon. It is essential to explore, investigate and educate oneself about the pros and cons of surgery, type of implant, the surgeon, and to ascertain if one really needs to undergo surgery. There are many herbal and non-surgical methods, like exercise, pills, creams etc, for breast augmentation. All the methods need to be researched thoroughly for any possible side or adverse effects and for their claimed effectiveness. Going in for breast enhancement is a personal decision that has to be made in an educated and informed manner.
Gender divide in personal loans… sounds interesting!
Saturday, May 26th, 2007A leading bank has come up with certain interesting facts and figures lately. Its study revealed that there is a great gender divide when it comes to selecting personal loans. If the average British women like to spend money on shopping expeditions, the men are all for cars and gizmos like laptops and I-pods.
More surprisingly, a number of women aged above 50 are taking personal loans for cosmetic and plastic surgeries. This is the age when people need face lifts and makeover to retain their old charm and glory, says cosmetic surgeon, David parker. According to him, 43% of his customers are aged above 50 and out of that 67% are females. So, gender divide is very prominent in case of personal loans and the reasons for which they are taken.
The following are some more interesting facts regarding personal loans:
Personal loans are taken for different purposes by men and women. The basic nature and different psychological needs are the major reasons for this divide. It has also been observed that those in the age bracket of 30 to 35 years are the ones who take most of the unsecured personal loans. However, the worrying factor is that most borrowers in this age group defaults a lot, reveals the latest survey conducted by another financial provider.
The concept of personal loans attracts a lot of borrowers towards it. The term in itself is very borrower friendly. It is self explanatory and masses can relate to it well. The reason for the difference in its usage by men and women in different ways lies in the difference of needs, psyches and natures of the two genders.
Bank Foreclosures 2007, trend, statistics, opportunities
Saturday, May 26th, 2007Recently released reports from ForeclosureDatabank.com, an extensive foreclosure listings database with around one million foreclosed properties on file, confirm that foreclosures activity across the States as measured by total numbers of filings continues the steep trend upward so noticeable in 2006. The escalation over the equivalent period of the previous year is a dramatic 46% and the first quarter 2007 up 20% on the fourth quarter 2006. The activity recorded in March 2007 alone is a strong indicator of the continuing trend into 2007, a 25 % increase over filings recorded in February.
Nevada leads the way with the highest foreclosure rate, and has done since November 2006; Colorado and California foreclosures also dominated the rankings, the latter with the highest number of cities in the nation recorded up to 6 times the national average for total foreclosure rates of all categories. California and Florida together accounted for around 37%of all foreclosures in the USA filed in March.
Press releases from major cities across the nation reveal data that suggests filings at record setting levels. Massachusetts foreclosure filings reached a high this first quarter 2007, other states report that their ratio of house sales to foreclosure auctions has tumbled in 2 years. Rhode Island reports a ratio in 2005 at 14 to 1, narrowing this first quarter 2007 to 3 to 1.
The number of distressed properties coming on to the market , whether they finally sell at auction or otherwise, must inevitably impact on the housing market, helping to drive down property prices in that neighborhood. Rhode Island reports that the average price of a single family house has fallen 3% compared with the same period 2006. Single family residences continue to represent the lion’s share of foreclosure activity; an average of 81% nationwide, although this proportion can vary widely state by state..
Pressure from three main areas suggests that a noticeably higher number of bank foreclosures are and will be coming onto the real estate market in 2007.
• One group of home owners most at risk for future foreclosures are those who relied on house price appreciation to build equity against which they need to borrow, with some industry forecasters estimating around $1 trillion worth of adjustable rate mortgages resetting at higher rates this year. Negative equity equals more bank repossessions on the market.
• A slowing of the housing market, which includes a growing inventory of unsold homes, may make it difficult for property owners to avoid foreclosure.
• There inevitably will be less credit available for borrowers to refinance their way out of debt. Banks and other financial institutions in the subprime lending business have been hit hard with delinquencies in the last year. Whether the problem is symptomatic of a wider credit problem or related to lax lending standards; by late last year there was an increase in the numbers of subprime mortgages in default by more than 60 days.
Rising numbers of all foreclosures will put pressure on lending institutions to reduce the inventories of REO in a timely manner. In particular if REO properties sit too long on the market, carrying costs pile up and bank owners get impatient.
REO is the institutional name for Real Estate Owned property, realty that lenders have had to repossess because of mortgage delinquencies. Not all REOs are bank foreclosures but by definition all bank foreclosures are REO.
REO statistics for March 2007 include California REO up 37%, Arizona up 34% and Florida and Nevada 27% and 19% respectively. Texas recorded the most REO including bank filings in March, with 14,000 year to date , up from 11,000 same period last year. Harris county, TX, up 147%, got top billing.
Looking at REO by region;
1. Southwest Texas leads the region ( and the country) in Reo filings for the first quarter 2007.
2. Midwest Michigan and Ohio are ranked 3rd and 4th nationally.
3. Southeast Florida closely followed by Georgia.
4. Northeast The region in general does not offer the activity in REO foreclosures of the other regions in the nation. Monroe county PA recorded 2.5 per 1000 households, the highest number of REO filings in the northeast in quarter 1.
It’s a no brainer. The opportunities for buying well priced bank foreclosure property will be better than ever in 2007. Some investors have already no doubt closed the best deals in town in this first quarter.
There are fewer complications, clearer indications of good opportunities in pursuing a strategy of buying bank REO properties.
How Can You Make Affirmations Work For You?
Friday, May 25th, 2007Everyone wants a better life, more money, more health and love in their life. A lot of people try to do better in life
But that is where it usually ends, because most of us have a “treadmill life”, which means we live from one hard working day to another, from one pay check to another, and most of us always are only one paycheck away from disaster.
Have you ever wondered about why this is so? Has this been your experience in life? There is a reason for this. There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who let life live THEM and then there are those who LIVE life!
It has to do with repetition and focus. We are just now learning what it really means to have the life we are all naturally desire, a life that was meant to be for all of us. Most people are thinking and “affirming” the things they DON’T want.
Anxiety, worry, and complaining are all a form of repetitive focus or affirmation. The truth about why most affirmations don’t work is because people focus on the number of times they are saying a particular word or phrase. But when it comes to their every day life, it’s more than just saying a word.
It’s about a combination of seeing, feeling, and thinking. That’s the secret to making affirmations work! What you think, see and feel inside of you makes all the difference in the world as to how your life plays out.
Everything in life goes through a cycle or a process. This means that just because you may have started to do positive affirmations for a few weeks or a few months, doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll see instant results!
It didn’t take you a few weeks or months to get where you are now, and it won’t be just a few weeks or months to get where you want to be.
Most people want to increase money, health, love in their lives.
No doubt this is also your goal, and a great way to achieve this goal, is to do your daily affirmations. The following steps are keys to making your affirmations much more powerful than you may have done them previously.
1. Use pictures or physical objects – this should be a picture of the object or experience you want to realize in your life. You can also use object such as a toy car (if you are wanting to manifest a car). Some people have vision boards for their affirmations, others use pictures on their computer. Do what works best for you. 2. Get into the feeling of having it NOW – many people are stuck in the “one day I will get this” mode. Pretend for a half hour that you already have it now. It is a great boost to your spirits and you come out of that feeling thankful and inspired. 3. Be Creative – I use music with my affirmations at times. Others use candles or incense. 4. Stay Consistent – Personally, I do this almost every day for at least 45 minutes to an hour or two. My disclaimer is that this should be a fun and relaxing thing for you. If it starts to feel like a chore, you’re not doing it right. This should be a lifestyle and not something temporary. It should be a way of life for you.
The Menopause Time: a stage in life when women catch-up with men
Friday, May 25th, 2007The menopause time is marked by the ending of the menstrual period for a woman and the end of her capacity to conceive and give birth. The menopause time usually occurs around the age of fifty. The range of age in which natural menopause can occur vary from around the age of 46 to 56. Some women will experience early menopause either from hormone insufficiency or surgical removal of the ovaries for medical reasons among others.
The menopause is also a time when women catch-up with men, for better or for worst!
First, by experiencing a drop in oestrogen and progesterone levels, women in their menopausal years lose these protective effects on heart and circulatory diseases. This fact in itself is a great excuse to do a complete physical check-up with one’s qualified physician for all women in their peri-menopause years.
Next, a woman going through the menopause time needs to re-evaluate her lifestyle in order to keep a healthy mind and body. A woman in menopause needs to eat a healthy diet, rich in calcium and low in fat. She also needs to incorporate regular exercising in her daily routine if she wants to reverse the odds for heart and circulatory problems.
Women in their menopausal years often will also catch-up with men in their career ambitions. Hence, since they do not need to provide care for their children who have moved out of the family nest, they have more time to forward their career. It is often seen that a woman in her peri-menopause gets great advancement in her company because she is committed to put the time and effort to accomplish her work in a very professional manner.
Women in their menopausal years need to be cautious about their unhealthy life habits and correct them. Hence, their risks of serious medical complications catch-up with the ones experienced by men if they keep such unhealthy habits as smoking or drinking alcohol in huge amounts.
A woman going through the menopause time can also become more assertive of her personal needs during menopause and realize that her needs are as important as her spouse. A calm and healthy discussion on the direction to take in life during this period is of major importance. Many women in their menopausal years will slowly take-off their care-providers role and will ask their spouse to see them as their equal. Men have to be ready to deal with their wife’s new found catch-up roles. Once the dialog is started, the relationship between a woman in her menopausal years and her spouse can be one of great maturity and very fulfilling.
Women experiencing the menopause time might also feel isolated, not sharing the same interests as their spouses. Rejoining with other women with common goals and interests can be a rewarding habit. Hence, by getting together with old friends who have already gone through menopause successfully, a woman can get great positive energy.
Support groups of women going through peri-menopause can also be a very interesting option. In the case of a woman who is either not comfortable or cannot go to such meetings, participating on internet forums especially dedicated to women in their menopausal years can be a very fulfilling experience.
